dark contouring lip technique

The contouring technique is something that you can use and adjust to every part of your face.

Originally, it is developed as a technique for the facial coverage products, but it can be used also to contour the lips, the nose, and even the breasts. Today you will see how to create a plump effect of the lips with the contouring technique. Take a look at the steps and follow them one by one. Here we go:

·         You must prepare the lips for contouring. The skin of the lips must be absolutely smooth. This condition can be achieved with petroleum jelly and lip scrub. Apply the petroleum jelly on the lips, apply a thick layer, and let it work for several minutes. Then, wipe off the petroleum jelly and rub the lips with the homemade scrub. Only two ingredients are needed for the homemade lip scrub – honey and white crystal sugar. Mix one tablespoon of white crystal sugar and one teaspoon of liquid, thick honey. Rub the lips with the mixture before the sugar dissolves into the sugar, so you must be quick. Then rinse the lips and apply natural lip balm to moisturize them after the exfoliating treatment.
·         Then, line the lips with matte pencil, a red colored one. When you finish drawing the lips with the pencil, fill them in with the very same pencil in order to create a nice base for the next step.
·         Now, apply pink and white lipsticks at the center of the lips as it is shown in the picture down below.
·         Blend it out with a brush.
·         You can create a matte finish with a tissue and powder, or you can leave the lips glossy and shiny. The final look depends on your personal preferences.
·         One last trick: apply concealer around the lips in order to hide some smudges and to create a pop-out effect of the color.

·         All done! Enjoy the look!
