Sam Boyd, a mother of two children, decided to
lose weight and enjoy physical fitness following the death of her husband's
father as a result of cancer. Here's a successful experience.
Starting: Running
After years of going to the gym so languidly to try to lose some
weight, Sam began to move.
Her loss to her husband's father shortly after the death of her
close friend also died because of cancer made her realize her yard. So I
decided to do something to improve her fitness.
For Sam, weight loss means that you feel healthy, happy and
confident and look like this. They can also participate in family activities.
Sam was overweight and exposed to a high risk of chronic diseases
such as type 2 diabetes, with a length of five feet (152 cm) and
weighing (65 kg).
I started a healthy diet for weight loss and regular exercise in
January 2016. The diet was designed to help Sam to gradually lose weight by
eating small rations in meal time and choosing the food that he feels full for
a long time.
Sam says, "I
used to take a lot of rations, and the diet used to eat small rations."
After five months, Sam turned. I lost 15
kilograms and 10 inches (25 centimeters) of
her waist.
Promoting self-confidence
Sam was running to
avoid increasing her weight again. She says, "My husband and my daughter
love running, and that gave me an incentive to choose to run and practice for
half a race."
I started leisurely, alternating between running and walking on a
road exceeding 5 km. She says, "At first I was running for a minute, then walking
for a minute, and gradually, I got a little walk and ran a lot so I could run
the whole distance."
In four months from the beginning, Sam was running from three to
four times a week. She has entered several short-distance marches (5 km and 10
km) before attempting to enter a half-race of 21 km (13
miles).
He says "I feel much better and I have a lot of energy"
before losing weight, she would suffer until she reaches the end of the road
without cutting her breath.
Sam says the weight loss has really
increased her self-esteem. It says, "I went down
from the size of 14/12 to 8/6." "It feels great
to be able to go to the dressing shops and choose size 8 and you know it will
suit you."
' Here to stay '
New Sam here to stay,
she has taken her decision to be in good health and has succeeded with a little
self-discipline. It says, "It's about re-educating yourself." The
diet taught me to control quotas and eat wholesome food for health. He's got
good habits, and she's now part of my life system.
To stay motivated, Sam regularly
participates in running events, from 5 km to charity, such as the United
Kingdom cancer research race for life, to fair races with her husband and
daughter.
"I myself interrupted at the bottom of the
ladder," "I never imagined myself in half a race."
Sam remembers the
effort you made to get back to her health. This anniversary is enough to keep
her from returning to old habits saying, "I kept a diary of my journals
during my weight loss program, and I have a lot of pictures of myself before
losing weight."
She reminds me
of my feeling before my first motivation to switch things. I think about how I
looked, how I felt ill, and I don't want to go back.
